Ringtone plus ad????

Can you insert an ad in a ringtone???????

i think that idea is not very smart........Honestly...
who would download a ringtone with someones ad in it.........even if it works many people can edit the ad out wit with an audio software...

Any ideas to monetise individual ringtones?

I have a free ringtone website. It is currently on page 9 for search term download free ringtone.It shot to number 6 for two days using the Yahoo answers method (thanks for that)

However the banner ads I have on front page I am not making a darn penny for two years

Somethings obviously up wondering if affiliate companies honest.
Anyway if anyone can help with ideas I am prepared to place banner of theirs or something on site in return.
