    Hello,

Ok, I research and found that the richest man in my country have $10 billion in total assets.

Suppose, someone gave me $20 billion and I keep all of it in a government insured bank account where they insured 100% of the money, is it safe ? I see how corrupt our government is so I don't trust them much, do laws protect me from losing my money if the government alredy insured 100% of the money and I didn't get the money illegally. After paying tax, is it safe to keep $20 billion in 1 single account.

Just want to know whether it's safe to keep ridiculously big amount all in the bank.I don't like buying real esate and other assets.

Ps:I have < $100 currently and far from a million.

Please provide your views seriously of how you think.Would you feel safe keeping (if you have) $20 billion all in 1 single account in a government insured bank.

    Thanks

    (I'm not dreaming, just visualizing)

This is seriously one of the stupidest questions I've ever seen. This really takes the biscuit.

You remind me of Fry from Futurama. In your mind this is actually a serious concern isn't it?

If you ever get anywhere near that level of money you'll realize how ridiculous the question is.

No one has $20 billion in cash.

Bill Gates for instance, his fortune is mostly in microsoft stock. The rest is in property and other companies.

When you have 20 billion, you won't even consider about the question.

Money isn't constant thing, one day dollar has a good rate, next day it doesn't, but real estates can only worth more as older they gets. People do not carry those huge amounts of money in cash, even who have 10 million dollars purchase real estates, purchase offices and then rent them, purchase stocks, invest in construction industry and so on....

No one will have 20 billion is cash stashed up somewhere because technically its going to waste and with market/economic fluctuation that is really meaningless, most people that are wealthy have investments in certian sectors of the golbal market invested so that they can anticipate and make more money.
