    Good Morning,

can anyone tell me how I can rewrite a url ?

For example, if I get a tinyurl or budurl etc., how can I rename that link with wording of my own?

    Thanks!

okay, so eventually i found an answer to my own question. Oh what joy etc. etc. Doubtless theres a thread on bhw somewhere which gave the answer anyway - and i've probably assigned this thread to the wrong section too. An apology to moderators...
Writing PURLs as they seem to be known can be explained at this site: http://www.webmaster-toolkit.com
There's a generator too. Isn't that great now?!

good job on doing your research.

started searching for a solution and found the answer in about a day.

In the process you probably not only found the answer to your problem, but also gained a better understanding of the process behind the solution.

    You Rock!!

Giving the yahoo answers method a shot on a forum that teaches it.
