Is it necessary to rewrite posts as they are posted to avoid duplicate posts, so google doesnt punish you?

Im currently pulling content from about 4 sites, and none of it is being rewritten or re-translated or anything like that.

And the debate continues. There are some who say you MUST have original content, others say duplicate content doesn't matter. It seems that Google does not mind duplicate content in one sense, but unless you are the one who has a lot of links pointing to the page, it could make your results less relevant. In my case, since I'm a writer, I'll do original content and/or outsource some articles. Then you can get into spinning, and there are plenty of those tools here on BHW.

yeah, google will frown heavily upon you for this, you are destined to be page 38 in the search results

i rank first page google with certain duplicate content but only 20% of my content gets indexed so its up to you i suppose

So I should use a rewriting plugin or spinner or w/e its called? I guess it doesnt hurt to try. Thanks guys

Is necessary rewrite amazon posts if i use amazon autoposter plugin?

I rewrite the product descriptions the Amazon Autoposter plugin pulls in for SEO purposes, to make them more helpful to the visitors to my blogs and becuase for some niches the Amazon posts are garbage or reads "no product description".

For the rewrite I target my primary keyword in the post title, post url and in the beginning of the post. I create a hyper text link using the primary keyword (link to the root domain or to a related interior page) and at the end of the post I include a link to my domain. Results? One blog is No. 2 in the SERP's for a keyword with 898k competing pages and another blog gets more than 1,000 uniques a day (in season).

Also I add these posts as drafts in order to do my rewrites, remove any of those crazy links that are included in posts from the free version and schedule publishing.
