It depends if you're using any 3rd party modules or not. It may not be compatible with them yet cause it's still in beta version

Hello Friends don't update new version.

I have been involved with web hosting for over 5 years and tried many programs before finding WHMCS. I even bought a lifetime license for another product before I found WHMCS but I subscribe to WHMCS because without a doubt it's the #1 integrated solution to automate your business. WHMCS does it all, is dependable and has the greatest support team around.
i'm using it's old version.

I can't upgrade now moreover it is not yet showing up in my dashboard.

I think that would be wise to wait and check for the reviews even after official release. Only when it will become widely used than i believe it will be right time for update.
BTW why did you decide it was right time to upgrade?
