As luck would have it, the moment I was allowed to review this plugin, one of my client's websites was hacked.
You know those annoying hackers who just deface the site. I took a whole day trying to fix this issue and also trying to protect the company server.
We have a hosting company and most of our clients have no idea how to safeguard their wordpress sites. So imagining that I was going to go through again with another client was too much.
So I went and took advantage of the review. I was looking for two things.
1. Ease of use...Remember my clients aren't all that IT savvy.
2. Ease of use...See 1
3. Ease of use...See 1
So I was able to setit up in 5 minutes flat. All the way from changing the database prefix, to changing the admin username. I tested all the functionality and it just worked.
I've tried other security plugins and to be honest, some are just scary to look at. They have no instructions and you just get intimidated to use it.
So this is a God send. If they can add the database saving functionality, then this will be a must have.
I've adviced all my clients to get it when it is out. This will probably save me a lot of sleepless nights.
