I been slowly but surely ranking a map and noticed a similar business, fresh account ranked position one. Didnt make sense, i notice they May have keyword stuffed the city in the name but.....
After reading all the post and seeing a reddit post I saw a trend. out of 40+ reviews 28-32 use the word "best, hidden gem, in city, city street" consistently, they all gave them 5/5 Food and etc. and half of them break into these guest post type thank yous
There are older profiles with better reviews and frequency but the reviews are not written in this very very high quality nature.
Here is the kicker, when real customers go to the business, there is a major dissappointment and you can see it in the reviews. They are almost pissed.
What did the business do? Bury them more overdone quality reviews with same consistent text to regain there rankings. Blows my mind, would never of thought of this, hope this helps someone. I honestly dont have the connections to pulll this off.
