Review site VS store website - Amazon affiliate

Hello,

I am creating my amazon affiliate website, and I'm wondering which format works best according to your experience. Review websites of products or a store website? (Or another format if any). I see both of these floating around and always wondered which ones are more profitable.

It will be pretty hard to rank either of the two. Google doesn't like websites with only reviews as articles and it will be pretty hard to make a store-like website with amazon products without copying descriptions and risking plagiarism penalties. Build a normal blog, build informational articles and push links to amz products inside those articles, this is usually the way to go for the best results

Where is this risk coming from? Google rankings or Amazon having a problem with our plagiarised site?

Google has an issue with plagiarism but thatțs not all. It just passed the review website update that really hit the review-type websites. Do some reading and you'll understand what I`m saying. Websites with no personal touch, just the same rehashed reviews won't rank as easily anymore

And suppose if our traffic source isn't search traffic but something like PPC or email marketing etc., in that case, it's all good to go ahead with this, right? I just wanted to make sure that Amazon doesn't have a problem with review sites.

Have you seen the site bestreviews.guide? The only original content on the site is a few short articles (review type). Do you think they get a lot of search traffic? Everything is copy/paste from Amazon.

Building a niche website + amazon affiliate is much easier than pure amazon affiliate store.

Review site... 'cause it'd be easier to generate traffic for this one.

Authority site > niche site > micro niche site
Think in terms of what post you need to create.
Info posts.
Answer posts.
Product review post.
Product comparison posts.
Best of posts.
Top 5/10/15/20 posts.
Buyers guide.
They all work.

Excellent advise

For an Amazon site, use Woozon Amazon Affiliate plugin or one of the other ones available at https://festingervault.com/

Festinger is here at BHW. Look him up and see if you can get a one time trial account so you can download and
test several of those Amazon plugins.

You can rely on the imported Amazon description text without "penalties" , because WEBSITES DO NOT RANK, PAGES RANK.

So make good niche articles and let the products take care of themselves.

Don't rely on organic ranking. Google is like a woman. She changes her mind in an instant. Drive traffic using Youtube, social media sites,
buying ads, giveaways, etc
