When you provide links for customers to leave a review on G+, Yelp, TripAdvisor, etc...do you provide a direct link from your website to the review site profile of the business you're providing ORM service for? Or do you hide the referrer (your website) through a 3rd party link shortener site? OR some other solution?

Wouldn't organizations (like Yelp) through up red flags if the referrer was seen 50+ times a month?

Thanks in advance!

You assume they care. If they see a lot of fake reviews coming from that source, perhaps. They already penalize first time entries by brand new accounts by "filtering" them into a "not recommended" category. If reviewers already have an account and a few entries, they are "legitimate" in Yelp's eyes.

Interestingly, they do post a notice if there are a lot of spam reviews hitting one place...
