Hey, Ive read many threads on BHW some state go for a brand name in the long run while others would say try to get keywords in the domain name just make sure the keyword density is low. I am about to start a Amazon review site which will be long term and am able to get the domain name with "reviews" in it and a lot of my keywords end with the word "reviews".

I just want to ask others on what they think, should I go with a domain name about my "product reviews" or try to make it more brand based such as "guru".

Thank alot

Depends on your strategy mate.
Are you reviewing products of a specific niche or are mainly targeting one keyword?
If yes, try to go for [keyword].com or [niche]reviews.com

However if you target different niches getting an EMD wouldnt make sense and a "guru" name or a general name (e.g. bestproductreviews.com) would be the better choice.

Im going for niche and im thinking about nichereviews.com rather then keyword because you cant really make an authority site just targeting a keyword within the niche.

It depeneds on the niche and the product.
With a "brandname" you could review and promote different products form the same niche.
When you take a keyword related domain name you are more or less bound the the keyword
for the content of your site.

Yes, thanks everyone for your advice. I am going to target a niche rather then a keyword within the niche and going to get reviews within the domain name. This should ensure there isnt over optimization and also could help me rank keyword ending with "reviews".
