With respect that URL is unpronouncable and difficult to remember and moreover you will have hell of a tough road ahead trying to establish brand recognition with that URL.
If your intentions are to build a valued resource I personally would can that URL and get a new one and rebuild the posts then move forward!

The first impression from your url is that it is a strange url name for a blog. Do not mind it but the name must be catchy to create a nice impression.

You would definitely want a better domain. As for the content, I would add some pictures to the articles. The site is rather text heavy.
You may also want to consider branding the site a little better. - Maybe a logo of sorts, a header image, etc. But then again, that depends on what your intentions for the site are

Yes, you should have domain name which will be easily remember and recall by everyone.

The colors, to me seem way too light and bright. Especially for a techie gadgets site.
Now if it was for scrap booking or cupcake baking then "Home Run!"

remove the big share button below each post on main page and add tweet, facebook like and google + buttons on single post page.
Put some dark clouds in the sky with lightning to create a dramatic background.
Create a big logo banner at least 940 X 100 at the top
On the top right put a 300 X 250 facebook page social plugin.
I would prefer a different theme which fits the 1024 X 768 screen and also has place enough on right side to put a 300 X 250 banner or anything of this size.
Also I would go for theme which don't need much images, all work is css based.
