If you're looking to turn it into a money-maker, buy a real domain. It's only $10 or so, and it's well worth it for credibility.

You have a very good start here. Your content is well organized and easy to read and also seems informative. As mentioned by another member, buy a domain name. If you can get an EMD (exact match domain) for your target keyword. Try and get the .com if you can.
The best place to start with ranking well in search would be with target keywords for your website. Choose the keywords and their variations that you want to include so searchers can find your content.
You will want to include these keywords in the content on your website as well as the architecture of the website (meta tags, alt tags, and titles). Choose keywords that are important to the product or service you are marketing and build a page around each one. There are certain characteristics as to how you do this such as keyword density in website copy and the number of relevant keywords you should include in meta tags. Since you have a WP site try an SEO plugin such as Yoast or SEO ultimate.
Another thing you can do to start is learn about what white hat and black hat SEO are and their differences. Depending on what you want to accomplish, there are some tactics that may not be good to practice.
The tasks mentioned above are known as internal or onsite SEO and are related to website architecture that you have direct control over. Another aspect is offsite SEO which can include creation of external web properties that contain target keywords, article marketing and syndication, optimization of video, document sharing, link building and a number of other tactics.

It looks good, except I think the slideshow thing is a little too flashy. I know it's important to catch people's attention, but if I were you I'd try something more subtle, like having the different pictures fade in slowly.

Nice site. Doesn't really look like a blogger site, you'll only know this when you see the url. I also agree with GobBluthJD, buy your own domain and hosting. That will make it look like an authority site and you can also attract more advertisers, ads other than Adsense I mean.
