I'm tempted to put this in the shit list but that doesn't seem fair as they are not some kind of scam but I feel the responsibility to at least review their service so far.
I'm always looking for a provider that can deliver A LOT of varied geo-location data centers nationwide (USA). I've used anonymous-proxies.net for a while and they are always reliable but I was looking for a bigger pool of proxy locations so I tried iprental.

Not wanting to pay a full month of $150 I decided to sign up for a "day pass" for $25. Numerous attempts to create a login failed, saying my username was already in use or unacceptable. WTF?
I emailed their support and waited for DAYS to get a reply. They said, "Are you using an email address as a user name?" I replied I was not and asked if I should be as there is no mention of that in the sign up.

More DAAAAYS went by and their reply was, "yes you need to use an email address"

So yesterday I signed up, downloaded their desktop app which is easy to use and it was then that I see that once I disconnect from a proxy, I have to wait 2 minutes before reconnecting to another. This is only for non-premium members and again, no mention of this that I saw on the website. So I was pissed about that.

Since I've been using it since yesterday afternoon, I've had 3 proxies that worked, many that never connected and the 3 that did connect are slow beyond being usable.

Oh and maybe it's my issue but for the life of me I cannot get it to work with FF so I'm stuck using Chrome.

As far as I'm concerned, for the price they charge there is no way I'd use them long term.

Similar story with them here ... I asked for the 24 hour pass to their support email ... it took 24 hours to get back to me, and I got a one line response that wasn't even correct information

    they replied ...

I'm either blind or there is NO option for the 24-hour day pass by clicking the join button ... It just takes you through their sales process.

I gave up on even trying to get a free test, no way in hell I would spend money with these jokers.

the 2 minute wait between proxies is posted on their site, it's their way of getting you to buy the more expensive package.

first of all, the only people that need a service like they offer are not the type of people that can wait 2 minutes for a new proxy, that makes the service unusable unless u get the expensive package.

from ur review, it sounds like the bigger package wouldnt give good results either.

I was just checking out their site a few minutes ago and was close to ordering the 24 hour pass. Gladly I googled for reviews first. To be fair, they clearly state "Allows you to change IPs as often as every 2 minutes, and use up to 720 IPs in a 24 hour period." and the stuff they offer sounds great. I mean, 2000 different IPs per day for just 100 bucks? That´s only 0,05 Cent per Proxy! Unfortunately there is a thread here on BHW from 2009! where people are allready complaining that the most ips are softblocked because they oversold their service. If you ask me, the delay between requests and answers from their support is a indicator (at least for me) that the service and the website is still active, but not longer worked on. Guess it will stay this way as long as the website has top ranking for their target keywords. :/ So thanks for your review. Saved me 25 bucks and alot of nerves :)
