Reverse SEO - Need page(s) deranked/taken off first/second pages

When you search my client's business, I dominate the first few pages through whitehat SEO, but one of our dumbass copywriters put scam in one of the articles and how they are not a scam. Well this linked them so on page 1 it shows that "XYZ Testing is a scam" when it really isnt, it is just there from google linking the two.

Edit: for some reason I cant reply right now, so this is literally the first time this has happened. It was a human error... Anyway still looking for someone to knock them off so we stay dominated on the first and second page
Edit2: This is a hobby, not a full on business. Secondary source of income since it is easy asf once you figure out how to get the entire first page within 1 week and have stayed there for over 1 year. So instead of bashing this can someone just help me from a human error

Change your profession till it's too late.

So if you have a bad review on the first page of your keyword there is a theory that was presented by a random guy in here. If you link that website in your own website .. it can get removed. I don't know there was a method like that.
