Reverse Engineering VST Plugins. [HELP]

Hello there. I am looking forward to start cracking VST plugins.
First of all, I'm going to start off by stating that I am working on MacOS and all of my VSTs are .component.
I am using IDA Pro in order to disassemble and edit the files. That being said, I am working in Assembly x86 and I need help in as to how to identify online authentications.

Do you have experience with reverse engineering? I would recommend using ghidra over ida pro because the code generator makes it a lot easier. If you have more specific reverse engineering questions lmk.
