Reverse Engineering a Competitors Backlinks?

Hi,

I am trying to rank for a competitive keyword and one of the sites thats ranking quiet high for that keyword already, i would like to reverse engineer there backlinks and then find out which ones are still open to comment on? I do have scrapebox but not used in a long time but if someone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

I would assume that ahrefs would be able to do what you need.

Ahrefs.com is pretty good

Yes, ahrefs will do that. But don't expect all the links to be sites that you can just post a comment on.

If you PM me the URL and your email address ill run it through ahrefs for you though.

+1 for ahrefs but you might want to also have a look on majesticseo.

And even seospyglass and scrapebox just to make sure you get all backlinks.

I know I'm reiiterating everyone else, but use Ahrefs.com for backlinks. One of the better backlink checkers out there.
