Anybody use dating / friendship apps?
Some people try to cat fish others by posting a different photo for their profile (someone better looking etc) but of course whoever you meet will eventually find out
that photo was not the real you if you decide to meet in person (or to a smaller degree, just post the ugliest pic of yourself instead of the best looking photo of yourself
so that you lower the bar and set yourself up to a standard you won't be able to keep).
I was wondering what you think about reverse cat fishing? Try posting a photo of someone who is less attractive than you and then if you get interested people
maybe you'll end up finding someone who isn't as much into looks as they are into your personality or character. Then when they actually see you, they might
be pleasantly surprised.
It's kind of like using that strategy of making yourself look even better looking to others by surrounding yourself with uglier friends (lol).
