Does anyone know how to find which sites redirect to a specific site. As in XXX shows up high in the search results, but only because some unknown site (we'll call it YYY) does a 301 redirect to it. But we only know of XXX. Does anyone know of a tool to find all of the YYY's that redirect to XXX?
Example... Wikipedia.com decides to change their name to JoesPages.com, so they do a 301 redirect. A few days later, someone who has never heard of Wikipedia.com wonders why JoesPages.com is ranked so high (eg. #1 for almost every single keyword phrase possible) and they look up backlinks to JoesPages.com and find little to none. They are obviously perplexed at how it's possible that a site with almost zero foot print dominates search results, and has no way to find out via any seo tools that the huge foot print of Wikipedia.com is now pointed at JoesPages.com.
