It's been about four months since these guys have paid me, so I called them yesterday to find out why. I ran two offers in March & April and made a decent amount of money. I come to find out with my phone call that they didn't get paid from the advertiser, so I won't be either. The expense of running the campaigns wasn't a lot thankfully, but to let me go two solid months without saying a word is kinda fuct. There was no complaint about my leads from the advertiser and I'm sure there were plenty of conversions. Now I got April and June I gotta worry about too. Just wondering if anyone else got the shaft from these guys or are they just giving me lame excuses.

Another problem causing CPA...
Any other member get this issue with revenueloop too??

If they legitmatly didnt get paid, as in the the advertiser screwed them well... youre pretty much out of luck. Most of the CPA companies ive dealt have somthing to that effect in their Terms of Service.

sorry....just dont run compaigns through them anymore ...maybe ?

Pofecker,

That happens. It's not the first (and it certainly won't be the last) time. That is why I usually only deal with campaigns that have a history or deal with companies that have offers that have at least some longevity. It won't eliminate your risk, but it will minimize it.

Also, you need to stay in close quarters with your AM. They know all that stuff...whether the company is fresh or has a history of paying ON TIME!

Why use them when you have access a variety of already well established CPA networks?

why cant BHW start its own CPA?? we can have OP , HARRO , premiumscore , and few others as IMs :D.I am sure BHW will be LEGIT CPA company :) , beating every other company :)

I have an account with them but so far im not making any money with that network....The reason for that is because sumthin seemed funny about them from the beginning....idk wat to say but ill be glad to start a web war also lolol im always down to ride!!!

Cam som 1 atleast make a list of CPA companies that have paid them ..... sum one START A THREAD

ive been paid by rev loop several times. not their fault if they really didnt get paid.

no its not their fault but the point is, they could have told po 2 months prior to him ringing, fooking rude! Po could have been putting shit loads into white shitty adwords who knows.

I understand that if they didn't get paid, then it's not really fair for me to expect payment from them. With that said, they should have told me that the advertiser wasn't paying instead of allowing me to keep promoting them and wasting my money.

They also pulled some crap about me never faxing in my W-9 in April. (Heard they did this to a lot of people). I have a copy of the W-9 and transmit report off my fax. I re-faxed it and was promised payment. It didn't happen.

Either way, this has put a bad taste in my mouth and has lost me a good deal of loot.

Go tell them that if they don't pay you, you are going to completely stop using them. Threaten them and tell them you will take your leads elsewhere, then they'll pay you.

It's up to them to pay you, that's why we use cpa networks instead of going direct, they get paid a commision of each of our leads in order to act as the middleman and take the hit when the advertiser doesn't pay.

ive been paid by marketleverage.....monetizeit....xy7...maxbounty....and neverblue

hope that helps:)

Honestly, I don't know why we accept that reasoning in this industry. In fact, it is the only industry I can think of where this prevails. Why?

Because at the end of the day we are all subject to their TOS and that relieves them of any accountability.

I agree with you though Thinking. It shouldn't simply be an accepted part of being an affiliate. Aside from tending towards the better networks though, I can't see a way around it.

Belex: I agree we signed their TOS and are bound by all legal aspects of it. But I firmly believe they have a duty to PROVE breach of contract on our part. I have never seen any other contract between two parties where one side can claim BOC and not pay the other. I have seen terms such as the parties agree to arbitration, but never where one side just determines the other side breached.

But I do agree with you. Until we start to push back, IMs will continue to get the short end of the stick.

BTW, Pofecker, I hope you do end up with your money.

This exists in the marketing world and originates from offline such as TV and Radio. Its called sequential liability, google the term to better understand it. There are a lot of networks that will pay out for good traffic even if the advertiser has stiffed them.

which advertiser was it? i just started a campaign on rev loop. i hope its not the same one.

i recommend just earning the min. payout first with any network (to test how they handle it), if they pay the first check then i would slowly build it up but cap ur self at 250$ per offer times XX amount of networks

this message isn't to pofecker directly but about the whole concept,

this type of shit will always happen, theres no way to prevent it.

we have to allow it to happen(by that i mean we have to make a an amount of high amount that they would risk us from stop promoting that network, they don't care, why should they? truthfully though, why would they care , if anything there is always a surplus of affiliates,)

i'm with 30 networks right now my goal is 50, this method will take a lil longer, but it beats losing 600$ here and there .

i rather get burnt by under 100$ per offer per network then have all my eggs in a basket and get burnt low X,XXX.00 in a month then not run anymore offers for them, its like a indirect way of getting banned

This happened to me a few times but after threating them that i will switch my campaigns to get back on them with screenshots plus posting on some big affilaite marketing forums they paid me .

Another thing it's not your fault if they can't protect their asses and wait don't they get like 250k+ deposit from the advertiser before running the offer (at least that's what they told me when i want to advertise my offer with some of them )
