The little bit of searching that I was inspired to do made it seem like these articles cost nearly $1 each. Do I understand correctly? Or is there an ultra cheap method for the same?

And are all of the blogs hidden? Are the only ones that see them from Twitter?

Go to the Downloads Section. Download articles. Download any Article Rewriter. And go and spin the articles..That won't be even $1 per article..

Not all are hidden..Read the post again and you will understand all things..

Hey thanks for sharing! I'm actually in the early stages of implementing a method similar to this. Your guide is clean and str8 forward, unlike most who seem to converse and dirty it up on 'dragon speaking' just to get it up quickly.

Question..
Since they're all under one Parent Domain. Instead of installing WP to each, would it be better using MU ?

I am guessing different set of plugins were needed on each, and it depending on what you wanted on each niche.

Also, the loading issue when a visitor loads your site.. If all (20 something) plugins are under MU, then each site would be slow to load, am I somewhat on the right track?

MU works as well, I believe, but it requires random settings and stuff, so if you have it, great.

Also, are you talking $100,000 as in United States Dollars? Because $19 a day per blog is pretty hard to obtain.

This was pretty big in 2007 if you visit wickedfire, for example. many people try wordpress autoblogging & RSS. seems kinda oversaturated good luck.
