When reutilizing older channels, is it advisable to change the channel name, or should I retain it for YouTube SEO purposes? I'm curious to know if altering the channel name negatively impacts how the YouTube algorithm perceives and ranks my content. Yes, the new channel direction is in a completely different niche.

I you buy the channel you should change everything from the email the phone number And even the channel username, And for SEO it will be undexed in few days no Big problem

The impact is likely to be temporary as long as you continue to create quality content. The algorithm will eventually learn to appreciate your new channel.

Feel free to change the channel name. Especially if there is a completely different niche. The name change will have absolutely no effect on SEO.

It doea not matter whether you are buying the channel or not. You can always change the channel name.

my message is claire i dont say you cant change the name if you own the channel ....!!? what i say is that changing the name
is a necessary action if he buy it. what i mean is that people do that all the time and never get shadow ban from youtube.
