There is a difference between gay, bi , and curious. Some guys don't find men attractive and aren't necessarily turned on by the fact that it is a guy, but rather turned on simply because they know they can get some action.
Most guys on chat rooms just want to get off, and a man has a hand and a mouth, so they can work just as good in a fantasy. They identify as straight, because they may feel repulsed when thinking of sexual activity with a man on any given day, but when their hormones are running, anything will do.
So while physically a man might engage in Homosexual activity, mentally they feel no romantic attraction towards men, would never have a relationship with a man, and would prefer sexual activity with a woman given the choice.

but what makes you think that they're straight? did they say they were or are you assuming?
apparently 10% of the population is gay/bi/whatever so obviously everyone you chat to can't be straight.
edit: just read that you said that they said they were straight. obviously yeah, they're not all straight. maybe saying they're straight fits into some sort of fantasy or something they want to have off with you, lol

if you take your time to read through kickflip posts, then you will see that basically most of all of his posts are from experience. Hardly any posts are him making shit up, some ppl might not take the time to read through essay-style posts, but those who do can easily recognize most of what he talks is from experience.
