resume help???

Hey I had some questions regarding resumes. Since BHW IS my favorite think tank, I opted to ask you guys. I haven't updated my resume in years and I'm not up to date with new styles and trends. A friend said I should get someone to write it for me, but that it was expensive. I've never heard of that, what do you think? Years ago I just popped my info into a Microsoft word template and printed it out on some nice paper. Any and all info. regarding format, style, etc. on resumes would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

format takes second place to the content. Remember to list what you have done. Not what you can do. Achievements are key.

Sometimes you can get a good position without a resume.
