Last week, a friend of mine wanted to know if ****** was a good source of traffic. I decided to try it for myself. I will not disclose what offer I used only to say that the payout was $1.75 and it was a e-mail submit. I purchased 2k USA visitors ($10 worth) and let it run all night. Woke up to find I had $10.50 worth of conversions. I decided to give it another go and sent ****** $20 for 4k visitors. Within a hour I had around $27 worth of conversions (roughly). I then deposited $50 and made about a $10 profit from that. Within a few hours my affliate manager messaged me on skype saying I had sent over 17,000 clicks and cost them more in tracking costs than profit we both made. With respect to the affliate company they suggested me use a landing page and send them to the offer. I tried and never got a single conversion.

What is the point of this thread? You can build a list with ****** as long as it is a simple email submit. From my testing a landing page did not convert at all when sending from landing page to offer. If they see something that looks good they will submit their e-mail but otherwise they won't follow through 2-3 pages.

I'm sure people have found a way to monetize that traffic - just go click on a bunch of ****** links and I'm sure you will find a common trend over a period of time (weeks ideally). Then just make a similar campaign.

It actually sounds like you did quite well for just starting a new campaign.

I am yet to see anyone make good long term profits from adfly.

One of the only guaranteed good things with it is to quickly split test squeeze pages. Although you need to consider that the traffic is different to your usual traffic and that may or may not be a factor that is relevant.

The real good times with them as an advertiser was back when they didn't have the iframe breaker.. ehm... :D

They terminated my account and said I was using a iframe breaker script. I emailed them back telling them they approved my website and if it was a iframe breaker why would they approve it in the first place? Still have yet to receive a response.

These threads are exactly why BHW rocks. Real people providing real information without trying to sell anything.

These are the types of threads that newbies need to read. This just verifies that I'm not crazy. I was running something similar. I was just breaking even on a simple email submit ($1.25 payout), so I figured a landing page would increase my conversions. That's what most people say. I went on Elance and had a professional landing page done to match the offer. It only cost me $20 but looked really good. I ran that and did not have 1 conversion. Not a single one. I assumed my cpa network was shaving. I went back to direct linking and got more conversions but never could get the campaign profitable.

I might try to build a list - something to think about.

I actualy did run a differnt offer to build a list and DID get a few signups. I done it with the cheap international traffic. If you had a REALY good landing page that fit in the screen that wasent to long and caught the users attention within 5 seconds they may sign up on a list.

I tried it . But 0 singups with 1k visitors

websites like videobull that link to free episodes of tv shows I'm sure are making a lot of money. Majority of the ones I use, use adfly. However, I use an adblocker which bypasses the ads, I reckon it effects adfly stats because they just start using an error message saying in order to proceed, users must remove adblockers...but there's a simple way to avoid the error message.

I think these site are very few though, I doubt many people are making a lot of money from adfly.

Good thread, thanks for the insight. I thought this was gonna be a thread about some guy making a few pennies from his link spamming.

I am a member of Peerfly (CPA company). They don't allow bitly traffic but, would it be possible to mask a domain? Would Peerfly still see where the traffic is coming from?
