Restoring expired domain

Hi, i just bought expired domain which was used as a brand. My first idea was to use a logo and some content to create a PBN (restoring from WBM).
So my question is, can i use a old text and logo from previous owner of this site ?

Yes, if you want to go further you can restore the old theme (From WBM) to Wordpress.

No, the brand dosen`t not exist. As previous owner had redirect to another website for about 1 year. Still scared for copyrights suits. Any help ?

Depends in what country you live. As I live in Brazil I don't have to worry about this.

Can you use it? Yes.
Can you get into trouble for using it? Yes.
Does that happen often? Oh yes.

Same goes for logo and the content.

Nobody cares if you are US citizen or not. These laws are multinational.

And yes, if the domain name itself isn't trademarked, you can use the domain with a different content and logos no prob. Even if the name were trademarked and you would set something completely different on that domain, you should be fine.

Please, can you explain more? Like restoring the old website design, contents, and theme to previous one, right? How to go about this with WBM?

Yes, I will tell you how I do it.

1- Find on WBM the website version you would like to replicate.

2- Copy all source and paste on an editor like Dreamweaver (that includes all CSS, JS, images etc)
- Remove everything related to WBM
- Make the website "live again"
or
2- Pay someone to recover the website from WBM (for $11 guys at WBM Downloader do it for you).

3- Make this HTML website, a Wordpress one (if you are planning to build a PBN). You will find many Youtube tutorials on how to do this.
or
3- You can also pay someone to make a HTML website a Wordpress website, but if can be quite costly (one-page sites can be quite cheap, like $5, but more complex websites are usually $44-$100)

4- Edit the final file to your specifications.

* As everyone said - be careful with trademarks on content, logos, names from the previous owners.
