Hi guys, am would like to find out how do they work and started. I’m a proxy reseller and have a huge interest to become a provider rather reseller. Appreciated on any input.

Two ways a couple of big providers do this;
1. Offer free VPN client. The client runs as both a VPN end point for other proxy users and also as a proxy endpoint for clients.
2. Offer a service that sells unused bandwidth. One company pays ppl $0.10 per GB when they run the client, but charges $10/GB to proxy users for the same bandwidth. Markup here is similar to pharmacies (drug stores).

Both pretty interesting strategies. Although the first one sounds a bit hard to market to me, since there is a huge boom in VPN services right now, plus the bad press it'd give you I think. The last one sounds really cool, does anybody know if something like that already exists?

I don't know the margins on one residential proxy, but cloud machines are pretty cheap these days. I belive you can get an AWS or Azure box for pretty cheap.
