residential or mobile proxy ?

residential proxies are like using WIFI at your house, mobile proxies is like using mobile data on your phone

it depends how you plan to manage the account, like for example if your using Instagram's Mobile API you want to make sure your using the proper identifying headers in the mobile API

X-Fb-Connection-Type: WIFI
X-Ig-Connection-Type: WIFI

these headers would represent that the user is using a WIFI connection and not a Mobile Data Satellite Connection

I vote for mobile proxies.

residential proxies are cheaper so i prefer them over mobile proxies

Static Residential are my go to because you'll always have the same IP, the speeds are usually better and you get unlimited bandwidth

Mobile Proxy contains 4G/5G Proxy, always used by different users in one area. if you are located at the office, Your mobile 4G proxy IP will be used by most of the staff in the same office or the same building, It seems Database Proxies. (hundreds of users use one IP address)
However, Residential Proxies, are divided into different IP segments for each residential room address. In this way each different IP address will be used only by the users in this room.

Less users on the same IP address means more safe.


So, Residential Proxies (better static residential Proxies) are more safe than Mobile 4G/5G Proxies.
