Hey there BHW!

This would actually be my first thread after so much reading, and I was wondering if you guys could help me out.

So I have decided to take action in reselling a fiverr gig online. The method is as follows:

1)Make a landing page
2)Integrate the page with Paypal
3) Manually target my traffic and contact them directly via email probably; show them "my" service (No SEO, social media advertising, etc. involved)
4) When people order, I order from the original seller.
5) When I receive the order form the original seller, I send the order to the buyer.

So basically I'm the middle man.

I have a few questions regarding selling things on Paypal:
-would I be running into any complications or legal issues within this method with Paypal? I mean this is BHW, but I would still like to be aware:)
-if I don't have a sales tax, would that cause a complication?
-Am I better off just not even making a landing page integrated with paypal but sticking with steps 3-5?

I look forward to about hearing BHW members' responses! I have a great feeling I'll get some really good help from some of you, so thanks ahead of time!

- Paypal can ban people randomly, but plenty of resell goes on unnoticed, so you'll be fine but I suggest a backup plan.
- I don't think that's a problem (at least not in the US)
- It's best to make a landing page for good presentation to your potential customers! Keep step 1 and 2.

Thank you so much for your input! I'll keep your response into mind while I await more responses from other people. I really appreciate yours as I will future responses from other people as well:).

I am doing the same process and i am afraind i can be banned too...any idea of a backup plan for this?

This is not against paypals terms and conditions. You are absolutely fine to do that. But paypal can bann legit users as well.

Your back up plan would be getting a new paypal once one shuts down.

But if you have verified you account. Use proper information, have refund rate below 5% you will be absolutely fine. There is no reason for paypal to ban you.

Alternatively you could order through one paypal and have second paypal for accepting payments.

Cheers

This is really risky.

You can get your account banned anytime.

This is not against the TOS as mentioned but if it happens that you get banned then 2Checkout is an alternative, you get a merchant account and you can still take PayPal.

So what can be the main problem? The refunds? How many refunds can bring troubles?

I have done this before, and have had no problems at all... I would suggest you get the account verified, link it to your bank account and send them ID of you if they ask... If you do that you will be fine...

Don't try just Fiverr, also get QUALITY services and resell them. Start mixing in quality and you will get the quantity of sales lolz. Common sense is to throw in some freebies when they are buying, and also to make sure that you engage your customers directly. I think you'll do fine, just start thinking smarter and more sharper than the above average joe on here.
