I'm new to reselling (haven't started tho) and have been doing some research, but the more I learn the more the more I find conflicting info, so I'm not sure where to startm I do know I want to keep it simple and order + fulfill myself for now (not drop shipping). So i've realized that I can find suppliers in Asia, so I'm considering whether I need a shipping agent or not ? Lmk, and if so, which ones are reliable and affordable. Another issue I'm stuck on is staying safe and anonymous while running the business, so I'd appreciate advice on the best ways to collect payment starting out and where to sell them, For context, I'm based in the US and my starting budget is about $250, so I want.to be as smart and efficient with it as possible. Any insight or recommendations would help a lot.

Start small: order a tiny test batch, fulfill orders yourself, and sort shipping logistics before you scale. Use reputable suppliers, only add a shipping agent when volume justifies it, take payments through trusted processors, and consider private-label products if you want a safer long-term path.
 
I’m just starting to look into reselling and want to keep it simple by handling orders and fulfillment myself instead of dropshipping. With a small budget of around 250 dollars, I’m trying to figure out if I really need a shipping agent for sourcing from Asia and what safe payment and selling options make sense in the beginning
