Hey all,

I am researching a thing. And I need the tools or service names that need a proxy to use. For example, Scrapebox, etc.

Best,

Selenium (for devs using it for scraping)

Check around the Marketplace, might be some good finds there. Alternatively, have you considered having one custom made?

antidetect browsers (gologin, multilogin, hidemyacc...) for unique browser fingerprint works well with proxies to create bulk accounts or do many other thing, etc.
thank you sooo much!

Up for new ideas/things for my research.

Scraping Tools: These include tools like Scrapebox, Octoparse, Import.io, and ParseHub. Proxies are often used in web scraping to avoid IP blocking or bans from the target sites.

SEO Tools: Tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, or Moz may require proxies to run multiple queries in a short period without getting flagged or banned.

Social Media Bots: Tools that manage multiple social media accounts, such as Jarvee or Followliker, often require proxies to avoid triggering anti-spam measures.

Ad Verification Tools: Services like GeoEdge or PubMatic use proxies to verify ads' correct display in different regions.

E-Commerce Bots: Tools for automated shopping or price comparison like Sneaker bots (ANB AIO, Nike Shoe Bot) or price scrapers need proxies to bypass rate limits and regional restrictions.

Market Research Tools: Services like NetBase or Brandwatch use proxies to gather global insights without geographical bias.

VPN Services: While not a tool per se, VPN services like NordVPN or ExpressVPN use server proxies to route traffic and provide anonymity and location spoofing.

Email verification tools: Services like Hunter.io, Snov.io or Voila Norbert may require proxies for high volume email validation.
