You better use some virtual machine with Win10 or whatever on it.
And use that.
So that any malware or other bad things won't spill to your main pc.
Make a copy of clean VM image.
Do your stuff.
If you get anything bad from files (I'm sure you will) you can easily replace infected VM image with the copy of clean one and do your stuff again.
