Hey all,

I'm no Twitting expert. But recently I can't seem to prevent accounts from being banned within minutes of being created!:rant:I'm using the same methods that worked a few months ago, but I do realize that equates to centuries in IM years. (Create new email account, create matching Twit account, use Phoenix Twitter Desktop to follow between 500-1000 others, two fucking tweets and WHAM! The hammer falls and the shit's suspended three minutes later.)

Is Twitter dead? Or am I just using outdated and ineffective methods?:banghead:

well im no expert either but just recently read the twitter rules and you are only allowed to follow 150 users per day, I tried 450 and got soft blocked been staying under the radar only adding 100 per day same ip 10 different accounts every day waiting 24 hrs and all of my accounts are still alive hope this helps
Regards
Suave

Follow 200 users or less per day, after 3 or 4 days, unfollow who unfollowing you, don't exceed 200 users as well, the limitation is 400 actions, including follow, unfollow and tweets. Betweet those auto tweets, insert one or some manual tweet without any links, making the account more like a human being controlling. That's what I do, hope this helps.

Gonna bump this with an update: I'm trying to follow the rules, 10 accounts per ip, nomore than 100 new follows a day per account, putting real tweets, etc. And the fuckers still ban my accounts!:rant:I'm only pushing one or two CPA's a day, max. Mostly I'm just tweeting blog updates. Which, incidentally, has noticeably boosted traffic.

My guess is that too many scheduled tweets coming from socialoomph is pissing of their bots? What about the people with tens of thousands of followers? I could understand them not banning Oprah, but seriously, WTF???

Anyway, I'm off to make some more (fucking) twitter accounts. Wonder how much longer until they start requiring PVA's like everybody else now.

Hey, I just might have something figured out... One of my new accounts, (just made it yesterday,) got banned. Followed 100 people, made a tweet or two, set up RSS feeds to tweet every 2 hours and... BAN. So the automated RSS thing is perhaps the culprit. Maybe too many feeds to the same account? Or not enough random tweets from my own Twitter page. In any case, I still have one main account that, so far, is okay.

In conclusion: Fuck Twitter, that bird's gay as hell.

same experience here for 2 weeks.

even with different proxies for each account.

maybe it has to do with cookies stored for each account ?

I will create different firefox profiles for each twitter account, and test it next week.
