Sorry I can't help you with the book, but you should try meditating. Focus on the sound and see where it takes you. It might help with things like Lucid Dreaming which could be an interesting experience.

Oh well, thanks for the advice guys. I'm a lucid dreamer since long time ago.
My tinnitus appeared around 2 months ago and I can't locate the reason why.
I searched that book like a nut and it's shared nowhere 0_o I wont spend money on it because I know it wont be worth for it.

Yeah, it's really disturbing. I can't focus on anything with that constant loud high pitch sound in my head.
Noticing improvements with some medications for better blood flow but nothing spectacular, still disturbing.
