When I'm I running a lot of threads using Scrapebox such as the scrapebox BE Moderated Post Filter and have it running at 50 threads my internet connection will drop out and I'll get a bunch of time-outs on the blogs I'm checking. I'm running Scrapebox on my laptop which is wireless and I also have another copy installed on my other machine, it does the same thing. Anyone experience any of these issues?

yes ... i keep it under 50 connections.

For 50 connections you need 3-4 Mbit connection.

Wireless is quite bad with number of connection over 30.

Also there is a setting in the windows but i cannot recall where is it which limits number of connections to 50.

How many you can use depends on a few factors. The best thing to do is to drop down to 20 and see how it goes. If it works fine then increase it until you start having problems and then back off a bit to a number that works.

Just did some testing. I plugged my laptop directly into the modem and ran the BE Moderated Post Filter on about 4k blogs @ 50 connections and it did not cut out any and ran fine. So I guess it is the wireless router cutting out. Right now I'm using a Netgear router, they suck, I guess I need to find a router that works better, any suggestions?

*Update* For those having connection problems running scrapebox on a wireless network, here is what I did and improved my performance dramatically. I bought a D-Link router from Officedepot for about $60. It's a wireless N, don't use wireless G it's slower. It is much faster and I run two copies of scrapebox now with no time-outs.
