    So here's the idea ...

... I'm looking for a way for a redirect link to switch the URL it redirects to upon sale.

    For example:

Suppose I have 8 affiliate accounts, and I'd like to send out an email campaign for Product B, but I'd like to spread around the sales, so as to keep the results per account lower.

I have my own domain and hosting. Say my domain is http://www.redirectwebsite.com/.

I create a redirect (http://www.redirectwebsite.com/product_b). I want this to redirect to http://www.productbwebsite.com/?a=affiliateid1 until a sale is made. After that, I want it to redirect to http://www.productbwebsite.com/?a=affiliateid2 until a sale is made. So on and so forth.

Is this possible? If so, I'd be willing to pay someone to show me how to set it up.

    Home Page:
it's possible. you just need to have your thank you page log their IP into a database somewhere, and then have your redirect query the database to see if their IP already has an entry in there.

just a simple php-sql script should do it

    I didn't understand a word of that.

I do okay emailing, but programming is DEFINITELY not my strong suit.

However, I was thinking more along the lines of a site I am promoting that isn't my own (a site I'm an affiliate of).

If I was on CB, for example, have something automated that allowed a sale from affiliateid1 to dictate the link to start redirecting to the affiliate URL that has affiliateid2 in it, and so on.

You could make script for that in php, you simply store settings in sql database that tell php script which site was last triggered, so

you install script to run on the sale page, then it saves to database that affiliateacc_1 made sale, the next time someone else comes to this page script will check if affiliate 1 made sale and redirect it to affiliateacc_2 if that happened, the next time person 3 comes to buy it will check if both aff1 and aff2 links made sale, if they did then aff3 makes it etc... etc..
