    Hello Members,

I need your suggestions. there are few links in the first page in the SERP. What should I do to remove those links from the SERP as soon as possible.

    Waiting for your suggestions.

    Thanks

The ability to remove them from the SERPs is strictly limited to a couple of classes of pages. Something illegal, something copied (DMCA) or a legal injunction. If you can't prove (to a judge) that one of those things happened, you won't be able to get it removed.

Even if you can prove it, you will need to hire a lawyer and by the time you're done, you will likely have spent $10-15k in legal fees. The judge will rule, possibly in your favor, and then you will need your lawyer to send out letters to the website and the search engines. It's a very expensive process that has a low success rate. My clients who have gone down this route have spent about $20k and only 1 of them had success even though at least 4 or 5 have tried it.

The better option is reputation management suppression. With suppression work, you push the negative down where it is no longer a factor that is harming the business. This can be down in a variety of ways. My company specializes in quick results while also marketing the company to increase business making reputation management a positive ROI rather than just a sunk cost.

Rank parasite pages. Wont take long to push down negative links. High volume of spam and some PBN links might be needed depending on 1st pagers

Parasite pages are good, certain press release sites, guest/blog posts on good domains, etc. Imagine you're building links, trying to find high quality link sources. Some of those sources are good for content.

You have to remember that there is a reason that some people are professional reputation management providers. People like me spend all day every day doing reputation management. This isn't the same as SEO and it isn't an easy DIY job.

I've had the best luck with Twitter, Facebook, and other profiles built off of already ultra-strong domains.

Hello. I am new to BHW and ORM but I am learning slowly. 2 questions:

    1) What type of keywords would you never hesitate using to get the highest SERP ranking?
    2) As ROR ranks so highly in addition to the sites mentioned above, would you suggest using ROR to write positive reviews?

    1. I don't understand your question...can you say it again?
    2. Definitely not. People can respond to the ROR and you'll be in the same situation.

    1. Writing reviews is actually illegal. Companies and agencies have been fined by the FTC for this:
    http://searchenginewatch.com/sew/news/2296366/fake-online-reviews-cost-19-companies-usd350-000

    2. No matter the review, just the name of the site -- Ripoff Report -- looks bad in the search results. And with a name like that, nobody really posts positive reviews there, so people aren't going to trust a positive review on there.

I'll just throw this in there: don't think of it as pushing negative content down, but as pushing positive content up. Take existing properties you control and existing good press and promote that, drive links and try to rank the good stuff. Supplement that with new profiles & parasites you control.

That's a good start, but most of the time, just creating and updating profiles isn't enough. If it's a VERY unique name, just about anything works, but once you get beyond that, you need more than just registration.

To add to what Bhopkins said, that will only work for very limited search results that have low competition. Add content regularly, but also incorporate those parasite sites into your link building campaign! Link to those sites heavily and give them a boost!
