Hey Everyone, I have a website with almost 280 articles, the website is getting 4 thousand visits per day, but this traffic comes from about 3% of the articles, each article is targeting different keywords, the question is.

What would be the best way to "repurpose" the articles that are not ranking ? Delete them from the website, wait a month so google can deindex the page and repost the same article in a different URL format in the same domain ?

PS: all of these pages are at least one year old, so they are either over optimized or the off page is wrong, this is why I rather start with a brand new URL so I can start the off page again and also change the link building strategy.

Than you everyone!

My opinion:
Wait a month so google can de-index the page and repost the same article in a different URL format in the same domain. Also improve the article as change is constant.
What is your website address?

Yeah please wait for sometime it will be getting index. Then try some index tool. if it not be index.use the same article with different post link for your same site.

You could simple revamp the articles with 0 traffic and stuff, including building a completely new URL and if possible 301 from the old URL if the backlink profile is good. There are tons of free tools out there that can help you with LSI keywords too like articleinsights.com which can be used to repurpose them.

Improve them, add images, work on kw density and kw research then resubmit them on google search console to be reindexed and test.
