What's the best method to re-publishing the original content? Any benefit of it? Which sites are best to re-publish the original content?

When you republish a content to another site, it will be consider as Duplicate Content. So there is no Benefits but it may harm.
it will got duplicate content so hire a writer and rewrite the content. Use it.

If you are rewriting using a number of sources, you can link but make them no follow.

If your source is from your competitor, then quoting/linking it is a bad choice. The best way is to rewrite everything into a completely unique article.

But nofollow can't pass link juice to the targeted pages. What you think, nofollow would be best?

Re-publishing is never good as it will be flagged for duplicate content, greatly effecting your rankings in a negative way. The best way around it would be re-write the article completely in a different wording.

You can republish the content no issue but those should not be outdated so before republishing the content you should review your contents and re-write in proper way. If you are really going to republish the content which are totally new then make it new article, that will be more useful for you. Make sure you will not republish the content where rarely else it will cause the cut down in your regular traffic.
