Republishing articles after deleting them?

Most likely, a permanant redirect on pages is the best option. Though realistically, once the original pages are deleted, Google will remove them from it's index after awhile. So there is no risk of duplicate issue.

I've had and seen others have good experience doing this. A bunch of my sites got hit with the PBN update last year and were penalized. Just deleted, waited for it to not be indexed anymore and reposted on a new site. (Just make sure the original version isn't still indexed).
They aren't back to what they used to be, but are gaining some traction.
As others mentioned though - it is definitely taking a bit of a risk. The safest option would probably be to rewrite them.

Yes I agree there. Just because you delete it does not mean that it is out of the system. They may have a back up system as well that we are not aware of.

Try the following method:
If you're worried about uploading the same content on the new site, rewrite the articles by using synonyms and omitting/adding information. If you want the link juice from the old domain but you're worried about any penalties being transferred, then 301 redirect to another deindexed domain of yours and 301 redirect that other domain to your new website.
- Save your content.
- Deindex the old site.
- Wait for the content to be removed from the SERPs.
- Upload the old content to the new website.

Delete the whole domain and leave it for 20-30days untill it is completely removed from Google.
Once that is completed, Re-publish the articles on the new site.
