does anyone know the actual purpose of this?

lol I been here for a few months and still don't know it.

Credit you get every post i think and i belief (correct me if i am wrong) that you can buy stuff with it later on or something

Thanks is when you can thank someone for a good post or something and Rep well i dont know and i dont care.

Please thank me and ad Rep :D

Rep - rep is no longer of any real value around here, as we are no longer requiring it to enter the downloads section. However, you can still give/recieve rep by using the little scales button, if you wish.

Credits - to be honest, I'm not sure what you'll be able to "buy" with these. I'm not sure if Dave plans on opening up a storefront of some kind or what? All I know is that they help to limit the amount of PMs that newbies can send (spam), as it costs 2 credits per PM. However, you get 10 credits just for posting :\

Thanks - thanks is what rep used to be; it's a way of showing your "thanks" for sharing or posting something, without having to post a reply simply consisting of "Thanks for that" or "nice share", which is kind of a waste and clutters up the forum.

I thought "THANKS" was meant to distinguish posts
by the way what happened to "thanked posts by.. " button on the user profile
I think it's very handy

would be nifty to be able to see what posts ya get thanks on...but the rep thingie sucks for me cause i can't see a scale for other people...just me...and omg nope now i can see the scale thingie....woohooo....i so did not notice it got fixed....:does a jig:

eta: i can still only buy myself crack....ammit....=P

hmm, okay. so credits are useless too (since there is nothing to buy at the moment)?
