How are you able to repost content and get on the fyp? Many people have tried reposting but most vids get stuck at 0 views or never hit the fyp

TikTok videos are assigned a number. That number records audio and video and any video that has those audio and video gets suppressed in the algo if they are used with a different number. You have to change the audio and video. Use the pic in pic feature and cut out the audio and use a trendy sound. Also use 2 niche specific hash tags and 2 broad hashtags like # fyp.

You won't get banned, but your videos will get fewer and fewer views

I had no idea that tik tok was doing that, even youtube does not succeed at all

If you do this for sometime, tiktok will ban you. So make own videos only as original content will take you very far.

That’s not true at all.
I thought it was so too UNTIL I saw someone reposted my original content and got 5M+ views and 380K followers!!!
I’ve even reported to see if it work but it didn’t matter at all.

To avoid getting into trouble or getting your reposted TikTok content taken down, you need to provide attribution.
You also have to add some sort of value, maybe some sort of commentary, or add different sounds.
I suggest that you check out the TikTok accounts that already do content reposting.
Pay attention to what they're doing to avoid getting their reposted materials taken down.
You should be able to see a pattern.
I see reposted content all the time.
In many cases, the Stitch feature of TikTok gives you the opening you need to basically reuse some parts of another creator's content.
You also have to add some sort of value, maybe some sort of commentary, or add different sounds.

TikTok will shadowban you for doing this and the reach of your videos will get limited.
