Not true, I know people who are over 20, and who are under 20, none of them want to be extremists, and they always mention it , I have been watching for updates of Libya, almost every single day for 9 months, and I did learn a lot, and they mentioned a lot of times (Libyans) that Libya is and will not be an extremist country.

thanks for telling me where are u from

but all reports and strategies including the president of libya now says most people want islamic law rule i said islamists not extremists islamists is not extremists

as i says most people want islamic law to rule coz they believe only islam can release them and that proven historically

if u wanna talk in this or more issues pm me we can disccuss as im politician expert

Libya has no president mate, you are maybe confused with something else ?

Libya currently has a temporary government, with 1 main guy, and a guy under him.

The guy under him, he used the word "Islamist" instead of "Muslims" and he wanted Libya to be more Islamist, but lots of Libyans were complaining (even the people that are high in the government currently).

Now both, the main guy and the guy under are resigning, as they said they will only be in the government until Libya is liberated.



Wait I am not sure, what is your point :)?

yes you are right i meant abdo el jalil he said the islamic rlaws will rule coz that majority of libyans support it and all strategies stdies says the religion role big role in libyans gaddafi was fighting islam and islamists and that people of libya never like it same as tunisia and egypt and others

now islamists returns more stronger you heard the people not like islamists and all that in media coz as i said some inside and outside parts does not like islamists to rule they want none islamists to keep their benifiet tehre

U.S/U.K etc Won't do anything about syria because there isn't much oil there, they only get rid of dictators who's oil they can steal.

Maybe Libya will be the new Dubai. The country certainly has the potential to be rich beyond belief with the citizens living very, very well.
 
Treelancer, I appreciate your sentiments. We do use a lot of oil here in USA - that's for sure.

I'm not 100% sure how it all works, but I'm fairly certain we buy a little bit from various countries around the world. However, the majority comes from Canada because it's cheap due to no tariffs through NAFTA (Thanks Bill Clinton).

We have plenty of oil and natural gas in the USA but the environmental nuts go crazy if we even talk about drilling.

I'm just happy that the standard of living for Libyans will be so much better after all they have endured.

Ye, I am not saying NATO etc helped Libya just because they are good... obviously not.

They did help it because of Oil, everybody knows, they are not hiding it, it's how life works today I suppose you know, i give you a hand, you give me a hand.
It does not mean NATO will control the oil, it just means that NATO/countries that helped Libya(ie France, UK etc) will get a big advantage, and every Libyan knows this already.

Both sites are happy,

NATO/Countries - Happy because they will get oil
Libyan People - Happy because they got rid of Gadafi

Yep absoluely but its just sickening to watch the politicians here in the U.K pretending they are doing it to help the people of libya free themselves of a dictator when its utter nonsense.

He was still a dictator when Tony Blair was shaking his hand only a few years ago.

It just means the only people that will get freed of a dictatorship are the ones that are sitting on piles of oil.
