Replying to comments on YouTube video

I have started a new channel in blogging niche. I get like 50-100 comments on my each video. I am trying to reply to all comments to build a personal connect with all. Even then if I make video reccomending sone product, I get a lot of hate in comments. How can I avoid this and get referrals?

Maybe the issue is with how you recommend and what you recommend here. If you can add the recommendation seamlessly into the video, that usually makes people less upset. But well, the product can't be shit of course.,

I am promoting hosting offers mainly. If hosting is not relevant to blogging, I am not sure what is?
 
Hello, you can filter comments with sentences you don't want from youtube settings or with certain utilities, if your goal is to avoid any negative comments at all, this is almost impossible because the people commenting are real.
 
Focus on building more audience and post some really useful content and advertise like "this video is sponsored by advertiser" type of intro.
 
You should read books about called "how to influence people"

Pro tip: Reply to those hate comments with love and kindness. show love to those comments. They will pissed off.

Do not do "filtering" or "ignore it" type things. Just reply to those with love.

Because that's those people's mentality. not yours. IF you care that negativity with negative reactions you will consume it. If you say kind things to haters that's the opposite of what they are doing.

This is the best advice you can get. It's the only way. I got many haters become some of the biggest fans after replying to their comments with care and kindness.
 
If they are not much, just ignore them and respond to positive comments. Focus on building a positive community.

This is good advice. I am also trying to increase reach of videos so that I get more comments ans these few negative comments get hidden.
 
Replying to comments on YouTube videos is a good way to build rapport with your community members.

That's pretty much it.

A lot of YouTube channel owners are under the impression that if they make it a habit of replying to every single comment on their YouTube channel, this somehow and someway boosts their chances of getting more views.

If it were only that easy!

It isn't.

You have to produce value with the comments that you are giving to your community.

There has to be a reason why you are replying.

A lot of people think that this is just a matter of saying, "Thank you" or "Thanks for stopping by" and all that bullshit.

That's not gonna help you!

When you reply to comments on your YouTube videos, use it as an opportunity to get the commenter to come back.

Use it as an opportunity for them to give you the information that you need to produce better videos.

Take that chance to get a fan for life.

Comments are opportunities.

They're not chores.

They're not a hassle.

They're not something that you just need to get out of the way.

No!

They can give you clues as to how to build more value in your business.

And believe me, owning a YouTube channel is a serious business.

If you treat it like a serious business, it will start producing revenues like a serious business.

On the other hand, if you treat it like some sort of hobby or something that you do to kill time, don't be all that surprised if you get very little return on effort.

So put more effort into responding to comments.

Get people to comment on your stuff.

Call people to action in the script of the videos you produce.
 
There will always be haters, and haters are your biggest fans, because they are the first ones to watch and comment your video, just read those comments because sometimes they can give good feedback to improve, just don't get disapointed and thank all your followers and haters too in your video for being there watching your video and giving feedback to improve, is hard to manage hate I know but try to your best to change that negativity and make it something positive for them.
 
That's a job that a bot powered by ChatGPT could do.

I have three ways of dealing with troll comments and each tactic depends on your niche.

1. First technique is the obvious hide user from channel / block / ignore. I do this on channels in a positivity niche etc.

2. My second technique usually my teaching educational niche channel I'll reply to everyone including the trolls. I'll be a little sarcastic and Witty but always ending with "thanks for watching" kind of like a kill em with kindness approach as someone else mentioned.

And last technique...take this with a grain of salt. To me personally, some people may not like this technique because they will say you are not presenting yourself professionally but there are some who will be on your side. In other words, it's relative and you can't please everyone.

Anyways...

3. This technique probably won't work in a positivity niche. I use this technique on my "eerie facts" channel so it's kind of fitting. However, try to strike a nerve and get the troll to argue with you because at the end of the day thats all they want is attention.

By going back and forth with them it sparks the engagement up on your video. I had "argued" with a troll on a video and that channel usually gets 200-300 views on average. That specific video before I replied to the troll was at 367 views by the next day it was at 5k views...

like I said some won't agree with this and some might think it's straight up wrong to do so but for me, it's your channel you do whatever you like. You can't please everyone and nowadays everyone has something to say...

I am just sharing with you what I personally do on my channels. As I mentioned everything is all relative so if it makes sense to you go and do it.

Those are three different strategies you can take into consideration.

Now if someone replies to this trying to troll me about these techniques then just know this isn't my thread so I'm not here to boost it so you'll probably get ignored.

I got multiple channels to attend to so good luck!

The option to become sarcastic sounds fun to me. It will have positive impact and give me fun also.
