Replying to Comments on Your Videos

Does replying to comments help boost your video, and if so, should I be responding to every single comment, or would doing that hurt my channel more than helping it? I respond regularly to comments but I don't typically see any difference on whether I do respond or not. What do you guys think?

It do have some benefits but not be necessary to reply to every single one, especially if your channel has a large number of comments. Prioritize engaging with comments that add value.
 
I used to run a smaller channel and saw no difference between replying to all comments, no comments, some comments. It was all the same. However, engaging with my viewers did bring me psychological satisfaction and that motivated me to produce better content.
 
that doesn't boost your views but help you with the retention of your viewers, you don't need to read all the comments like or reply just a few and this will make your viewers to stay longer subscribed to your channel and checkl your new videos, also you might receive feedback that can help you to improve the channel you never know.
 
it does not help you with your ranking, anyways, it builds a better connection between you and your viewers, they also see that you read comments and also reply/react to them
 
Focus on engaging with comments that add value to your channel's community.

It will not boost videos from YouTube but subscribers will love you for this. They will watch your future videos.

It should,for sure.It builds engagements and engagement pushes your video higher in the eyes of the Youtube algorithm.Replying to the comments on your video,builds a community around your video where you act as the head/moderator of the community.
 
You don't have to respond all of them but engaging with you subscribers is beneficial for creating good content. You start to know them better with time and create better videos. Also when subscribers see that you respond them, they're more likely to comment so it can help you increase your channel of course.

Yes, it is impossible to reply to all. Most comments are useless also.
