RePin or own posts?

always new posts have more worth as compare to repin or like that
Thank you for your answer, yes I realize that. But in order of building your account what you think?

I feel when repin I make free advertising to other accounts.

depends on your strategy but i said in case of worthy content and account reputation

I haven't seen any evidence that repinning is helpful. I haven't gotten any accounts banned by just posting images right from the beginning. If you want to actually grow an account, posting your own content is absolutely necessary.

I think it's best to have a healthy mix of both, that's what I plan on doing with mine.

Pinterest likes to see an active account.
If you got enough content and enough good pin designs, then absolutely skip the content curation. If you don't, its a good way to send positive engagement signals ;-)
Besides..the algo will show people who regularily repin your stuff more of your stuff.

Always your own post, repin extensively = ban
Pinterest has one of the most advance image recognition soft in the market, these days they can track what is good quality pin and what is not.
Engagement of your account pins is another important factor. I would increase traffic of my site pins just by pinning random engaging pins.
Try to find tending topics and then post them.
Regularly post stuff, like daily.
Your pins would not be shown to followers same day, they have restricted reach, increase your engagement level gradually by posting pins daily from general sites and your own too.
Then you will start seeing your pins shown to more followers.

I think this is the best way indeed, I try to mix them as well 1/4 repin 3/4 own content.

I don't repin because I haven't found any evidence that repinning helps over posting. If someone wants to run an experiment that tests this variable, then please do. From my experience, repins always get little impressions with on average, under 20 impressions total while my actual pins have the ability to gain way more (thousands within an hour).
My consensus is: Always post content if you can, but if you want to post something, repinning is better than nothing.

Take a look on the analytics and repin only the most viewed pins/liked pins. This is a good method, because - guess what?! - the old fans already like them and it's possible that also the new fans will like them. Pinterest likes quality-fresh content and the mix from the repins and new pins could be a great idea. Cheers!!

Pinterest is simple. Quality & Quantity are super important.

I post my own content daily and repin it to a couple boards each, half of my days posts are my own content. the other half of the posts consists of repinning others content.

The most important thing is posting to relevant boards bro!
