repating co.cc?

OK i wanna repeat co.cc successful idea of owning co.newextension and selling + giving away subdomains. Im not talking about buying a TLD as that would be crazy money, but do you think this is a viable idea or not?

This is absolutely a viable idea. Hop on over to http://www.norid.no/domenenavnbaser/domreg.html for a list of all the domain extentions. You could have a co.cc clone up and running very quickly. I don't think anyone would pay much for a subdomain, so I think your best bet would be just to monetize through ad revenue.
