[Rep] Tether Blackberry Curve?

Alright, I searched this forum, I searched search engines, and nothing so far has worked. Do you guys know of a guide that you have used that worked, not that you g00gled to get some rep and have no clue whether it works or not.

Whoever posts a link or guide that has ACTUALLY worked for you will get rep from me, as I would really like to be able to do this with my curve.

i have tethered a different blackberry, no problem. The main thing is u have to tell your phone provider ahead of time or else it won't work. (guess what? u get to pay extra for the privelege..sheesh)

Who's the provider. Sprint just disabled tethering for blackberry (Unless you call them up)

Dude use Pdanet... i've been using it on my Motorola Q for ages, and you don't even need a tethering plan.AS long as you have a data plan your golden.Trust me.You can buy it, or get the cracked version at a torrent site.Theres a free trial on the site. You actually don't have to tell your provider, Werrich. I tethered my BB Curve and I tethered my BB Tour on Sprint with no problems. You just have to use dialup settings for your provider and do a couple of other things.

You're shitting me right? I have verizon... gosh I don't know why everyone has them, myself included... they're overpriced and their customer service sucks! And now I hear they have a static IP?

Well, it was nice knowing you guys. I think I'm gonna go climb my roof now and do it...

But seriously, Oyeah22, that's sounds like the perfect solution - I'd love to take you up on the offer. Before I waste your time though, do you know if there's a way to get a dynamic IP with Verizon?

There is a option to get behind a proxy, so that might work.
