Hello!

I got banned from Amazon Associates last month for the following reason: “Your site is copying content from a website belonging to a third party.”

They closed my US and Canada accounts, but I still have UK, IT, FR, ES, and DE active.

I have now fixed the “third-party content” issue, and I would like to apply again for the Amazon Associates US program.

Has this happened to anyone before? I'm worried that if I push too much or reapply incorrectly, they might close my accounts in the other countries as well.

Do you have any advice? For example, would it be better to use a different email address, or avoid adding the previously problematic website in the application?

Thx, have a good day!

Make sure the site actually looks clean now. Remove the copied sections, add original reviews or comparisons, update a few pages so it’s clear the content isn’t scraped anymore.

Using a different email or hiding the site usually doesn’t help. They can still connect the accounts. It’s safer to apply normally and only submit sites that now have clearly original content. Also wait a bit before reapplying so the changes look natural during review.

I'm currently doing email marketing and sending traffic directly from emails to Amazon affiliate links.

I know Amazon TOS restricts this, but I'm looking for a workaround or solution that allows me to keep this flow: Email → Amazon Affiliate Link

while making the traffic appear as if it's coming from a website, not from an email campaign.

Has anyone dealt with this before? What solutions or setups have worked for you without getting the affiliate account flagged or banned?
