Anyone know a renewal coupon for namecheap? I'm starting to hate high prices + coupons GoDaddy style instead of just a plain steady price like namesilo, but don't want to start transfers :P

I Always find a coupon for renewing the domains i have on Namechap. ALWAYS!

Google for namechap coupons. Open the first few results. Find the coupon for the soecific thing you are renewing, and go apply it. If it doesnt work, try the coupon from the next website.

Guaranteed youll find a working one within minutes. Good luck

Have you looked at Namesilo? Always had free privacy anyway.

Namecheap prices

Namesilo prices for regular reg already cheaper (this month's offer makes it a little cheaper as well)

So much cheaper, why not just switch over to them especially before renewal is due. Transfer pricing here (surprise, also cheaper):

All Namesilo coupons you will find are aff coupons that provide you $1 off ONCE per account so if you have not used in the past.

I moved a lot of my domains from Namecheap to Namesilo the other year, when Namesilo ran a crazy dirt cheap price for transfers.

I've been searching before writing this post and nothing found for renewals :p

As @theRevolt suggest, I think I will be transfering soon all my domains also. But I hate transfers and I like to have multiple domainers specially for PBN diversification purposes: I've been putting all my main and MS in Namecheap and dispersed all the other domains in different registrars. Now I have a lot of CNAMEs in Namecheap domains and I would not want to "copy" all configs again

I usually just use
a) The hosts NS
b) Set up my own NS and use those
c) you could for some of course use Namesilos NS as well

Think that should diversify enough, and having them all in Namesilo to me is not a footprint in itself. They have a bunch of domains and you could, of course, enable privacy for some but not for others.

What I like about them is steady pricing. Others get you with the coupon then hope you forget or are too lazy to move them out ;).
I prefer always lower pricing and they do run promos with lower pricing often, not like $1 per .com but the $6.99 is pretty common and no hassle so worth it in my opinion.

FYI, if you do have tons of domains sign up for their discount program.
You will need to pre deposit fund into your account which will then be used for domains (renewals, purchase etc). Worth it if you have a lot of domain, for just 10-20 not much of an impact.

I dont knos what to tell you. I always find a free private whois coupon, or a small domain renewal coupon. The private whois saves me a bit more, so i use that if renewing a domain where i want to have private whois. And if i dont care for that, then i just get the discount on the domain renewal. I have always found a coupon, every single time.

No coupon for renewals but if you are going to renew more than 5 domains or more then ask support maybe they can provide you some.
Works sometimes.

Not unlikely, I have never looked at Namecheap or others but looking at all their renewal prices being higher I'd assume you can easily get a coupon. Are the renewal prices after coupon? I'd think they are at best the same as Namesilo (or other similar ones) but never cheaper.

I think renewing a .com is like $12 bucks, with the coupon it goes down to like $10,20.

Something like that.

Thanks, good benchmark to have.

Used to have Namecheap long time ago, do not remember why I did not like them but I literally moved everything I could to Namesilo as their interface is also very minimalistic (in a positive way). I hate all the upsells and that crap most others try to push, while still being more expensive.
