Removing whole site to start over?

Hi folks,

I just checked my website and I saw some organic views coming. I have a DA and PA of 20. I always got most of my traffic from YT. But that's all over now. I want to fully concentrate on SEO. So I thought, why shouldn't I remove my whole site and begin from the beginning with a site focused on SEO.

Would that be smart? I get like 10 visits a day so it's no issue to lose those.

What are your opinions about this?

I wouldn't do it, unless you've used shady link building practices in the past. If anything, the age of your domain will help you get ranked faster.

Do you want to start SEO for your websites? If you want that then start backlinking, do social media work I think in thus way you'll get visitors.

It sounds like he's going to uses the same domain so this doesn't apply. @OP I think it would be the best move to make your site SEO optimized and then add in other traffic generating methods after the fact. It's best to build a solid SEO base instead of having to change shit around later

PA / DA metrics of your site are good & if you are thinking of optimizing this same domain from SEO perspective then YEAH this is SMART.

GO ahead & build a solid SEO base for this domain as "blackerthanblack" has mentioned. Keep us posted on how everything goes after optimization (Traffic, Rankings & all) Good Luck OP

Thanks guys, yeah it's the same domain. I just want to remove all of it's content. There is a lot of duplicate content and non optimized SEO pages.

If you remove the content, will the revamped version of your website be about the same topic as it was before? The reason I'm asking is because you may be able to save yourself some time by salvaging the old content (images, articles, etcetera) and implementing it into your revamped website.

It's totally right decision to concentrate on SEO and your old domain will help you. I'll suggest you to start from on page optimization and only that you can work on linkbuilding and social media signals.

Yes it will, and that's actually what I am planning to do. Rewriting the content that I already get visitors from so it will even rank higher @ Google.
